HOW
TO PARTICIPATE
To
participate in Liquid Eden, click on either lily image above
to launch a pop-up window. On large lily image pop-up, click
anywhere on the image with your mouse. This click will start
a vertical shift of the image pixels, shifting the image
toward a total dissolve. Your online manipulation of the
lily is immediately seen in the physical installation of
the lily images around the perimeter of the gallery.

DESCRIPTION
LIQUID
EDEN is a java-based web project that consists of large
lilies projected onto panels in the space of a gallery.
The images of the lilies are networked and maintained on
a host server. The algorithm used to affect the images in
the installation is not automated but requires people, remotely
connected to the installation via this site, to maintain
is continuous animation. |
